The Gathering of the Gargoyles 2004

Three years ago I accomplished a whole heap of firsts:

  • First trip in an airplane

  • First holiday on my own

  • First overseas holiday

  • First Convention

Deciding to take a chance, I travelled overseas to go to The Gathering of the Gargoyles Convention and meet up with friends I had made over the internet.
 

Part One

Alone in a foreign land and sick to my stomach, I attend my very first Gathering of the Gargoyles!

Part Two

My adventure in Montreal finally ends and I say goodbye to everyone.

The Gathering of the Gargoyles 2005

In 2005 I went overseas again, to visit with friends and attend the Gathering. I spent 4 weeks in the United States this time, travelling from Florida to Nevada to California.

I got screwed around by my travel agent and my airline, I got incredibly ill on the trip over and came home dead broke. It was the most fun I'd had in ages!
