This is a project that started out as something quite different, but took a very naughty turn! Of course, this isn't intended to be actually worn or used--just a unique and nifty gift item for that kinky guy or girl who already has everything!
YES, this is real chainmail! The links are 18ga and 14ga (for the trim) 1/4" interior diameter galvanized steel OR copper--your choice--knitted in a classic European 4-in-1 weave. When fully stretched vertically, it measures approximately 7 inches long, and about 1 7/8 inches across.
This item displays wonderfully on a vibrator or dildo (not included), especially when upright, as the nature of 4-in-1 chainmail gives it a tendency to stretch and sag.
While galvanized steel is not prone to rust, it does darken with oxidation as it ages. Buffing it with steel wool will restore the shine. The same applies to copper.
